A Divine Abode of Grace & Devotion

Nestled in the serene landscape of Mylavila, Paripally, the Vavvakunnu Sree Lekshmi Narayana Temple stands as a timeless sanctuary of spiritual grace. The temple draws its name from the hillock (kunnu) of the Vavvakunnu region, a site considered sacred by generations of devotees across the Kollam district.

Founded by devoted ancestors of the local community, this temple has been a beacon of faith, tradition, and cultural identity for the families of Mylavila and surrounding villages. The temple follows the ancient Tantric traditions of Kerala temple worship, preserving rituals passed down through generations of learned priests.

🌺
Sree Lekshmi Devi
The principal deity — Goddess of prosperity, wealth, and divine grace. Her eternal blessings bring abundance and auspiciousness to all devotees.
🌸
Lord Narayana
The Supreme Preserver — Lord Vishnu in his benevolent form, bestowing protection, dharma, and liberation upon sincere devotees.
"The temple serves not only as a place of worship but as the cultural heart of our village — where festivals unite families, where traditions are passed to new generations, and where divine blessings touch every home."
